TVA: Threat-Vulnerability-Asset
TVA worksheet lists the asset in priority order along one axis and the threats it is exposed to by priority order along the other axis.
Horizontal axis - The asset with the highest priority is placed at the left, followed by others assets as in the priority rank.
Vertical axis - The threat that has the highest priority (i.e the most dangerous) is placed at the top.
The grid that is obtained from the placement of these variables (assets and threats) provides an easy view of exposure of assets to threats.
TVA is a convenient and simple vulnerability assessment method.
